Onn Google TV

Walmart Onn boxes running Google TV

  1. Open Settings on your Onn box

    Press the gear on your remote, or open the Settings app from the home screen.

  2. Allow installs from your browser

    Go to Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps (wording can vary slightly by Onn model and software version). Choose your browser (Chrome or the built-in browser) and turn Allow from this source on.

  3. Download TYTV

    Open the browser on the TV and go to tytvapp.com. Tap Download for Android TV, or open the short link tytvapp.com/apk.

  4. Install the app

    When the download finishes, tap Open or Install. If Play Protect warns you, choose Install anyway — that’s normal for apps installed outside the Play Store. You can check the SHA-256 on the home page if you want to verify the file.

  5. Open TYTV and add your playlist

    Find TYTV under your apps. Open it and paste your own M3U playlist URL (or add it from a file). TYTV does not include any channels — you bring the playlist.

Menus vary. Some Onn boxes say “Unknown sources” under Security instead of Special app access. If you can’t find the setting, search Settings for “unknown” or “install.”
