Chromecast / Google TV

Chromecast with Google TV and other Google TV devices

  1. Open Settings

    On the Google TV home screen, find and open Settings (gear icon).

  2. Allow unknown apps

    Go to Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps. Pick your browser and turn allow on. On some Google TV builds this is under System → Developer options only after you enable developer mode — most recent Chromecast with Google TV units use the Apps path above.

  3. Download from tytvapp.com

    Open the browser on the device, visit tytvapp.com, and tap Download — or go straight to tytvapp.com/apk.

  4. Install

    Open the downloaded APK and tap Install. Confirm Play Protect if it asks.

  5. Launch and add a playlist

    Open TYTV from your apps row and add your M3U playlist. Nothing is preloaded.

Tip: If the browser won’t download APKs, try the free Downloader app from the Play Store and enter tytvapp.com/apk.
